Without a swallow reflex, food and liquids can enter the airway.

Loss of coordination of the muscles, especially of the extremities.

Auditive Verarbeitungs- und Wahrnehmungsstörung – Auditory processing and sensory disorder (APD):

Individuals with APD have normal peripheral hearing but the way the brain processes auditory information is affected.
